Getting ranked on the internet:

You need to know what you want to get ranked on the internet for.

Do you want to be found when people search for your name…..yes.

Is it critically important to be found when people search for your name…..probably not.

You want think about what people would look up on the internet to find some one with your services or products. If somebody has never met you, they will not be searching for your name but they may be looking for someone with your services online in their area so it is much better to go after the service or product key words as you know that this will be more of a buying audience.

Getting ranked for your name will pay off in the long run but is not a good short term strategy.
