Online Business | Thinking Of Starting An Online Business?
One of the reasons most people want to start an online business is to make money. It was one of the reasons that I got started but I have also figured out that most of my goals were unrealistic when I got started.
So many of the people that I speak to now want to know how much money I am making and how quickly they can earn money. They haven’t thought about how they will earn this money or the fact that they will have to learn new skills to earn more money. They come in have a look around and say they will try it out and see if it works.
Most people give up because they don’t want to learn the skills required to build a sustainable business for their future. They just come in and don’t make any money in a few weeks and say it doesn’t work so they quit.
Having said all that. - Google the company and see what information you can find out
- Speak to some of the people who are involved in the company and ask them any questions that you have
- Make sure that all of the information that you find isn’t just all about the money
- Find out what the product/service/education that you will be selling is
- Understand that anything you have never done before requires learning new skills and will take some time
