Scared of Using Video

Are you scared of recording your first video?

Yes….Good, because most people are too!

You know that this means that if you make it your business to get good at video and stop caring about what people think of you, you have a really good opportunity to increase your leverage and your income levels. Got you interested yet?

We live in a world of fear and anxiety. We all have a certain amount of it and nobody is immune to it. This means that any of those things that single you out or raise your head above everyone else’s or take you away from the crowd will be uncomfortable and scary.

What if you did some small step each day so that when it gets to that big step, it is no longer a big step and just another small step on the ladder, except that it may be the top step on the ladder.

Video is one of the best tools that we have today that you can learn about and use very inexpensively that will build solid relationships with people and also build your X-Factor.

If everybody is afraid to create a video and put it on YouTube in case somebody might see it, do you think that they will look at you in a better or worse light after seeing you on Video? Better…very much so right. When you do something that everybody is afraid of then all of those people who are afraid of it now look at you like a leader and think you have superhuman powers because you put yourself out there.

Blogging, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, public speaking or whatever it is that you put out there that pushes your comfort zone a little bit also means that there will be more people looking at you in a way that makes them wish they were a little more like you.

They don’t know that you are scared too but you do it anyway. They don’t know that it took you ages to create the first video and you were terrified of what other people might see or think of you. They just see that you did that thing that they are terrified of and assume that you have some special thing that they don’t.

The reality is that most people will stay in their comfort zone and never put that first video out there so even if that is all you ever do….1 video. give yourself a pat on the back.

But think about if you did it for 6 months solid and by the end of six months you had 1 video per day for six months on Youtube, would it make you feel good, do you think you would have gotten over what people actually think you….probably not but I guarantee you don’t worry about it as much as you used to.

If you learn and get good at video then there is no reason that you won’t have a loyal group of fans who will follow you and buy from you because they find you inspiring.
